Cornwall, alongside Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and the Isles of Scilly, has been designated by the Government as an Enhanced Response Area as our number of positive CoVID-19 cases becomes the highest in the country. Due to this development I will be continuing to teach remotely (online); e.g. via Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom.
Many congratulations to my Student Lauren who has earned the rare distinction of being selected to take part in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’s ‘Global High Scorers’ virtual concert.
This comes as a result of her receiving an extremely high distinction in her Grade 6 Piano exam.
Places in the performance are reserved for those students who have exceptionally high distinction grades during the course of the year. These top musicians come from all across the globe recording their performances from countries including China, India, Iran, the USA, Vietnam, South Africa, New Zealand, the UK, Singapore and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
We’re delighted to announce dates for our next remotely-assessed Performance Grade and ARSM exam session. • The exam session runs from 5 to 31 January 2021 and the booking period is 1 to 8 December. • We have a set number of exam slots available, so please book early for the widest choice of submission dates. The date you book will be the last date you can submit the exam video. • Candidates can record their Performance Grade or ARSM exam at any time, then submit the video once an exam has been booked.
